Special Friends from Other Places (Closed RP with @shironaboo)

An early sun rose on in Alola on Akala Island!  The inhabitants of the Isle weren’t entirely awake and active yet, so many Pokemon took the time to enjoy the peace, quiet, and open space!  One Pokemon in particular was out enjoying such a time, speeding through a forest in mid-flight!

“TINI!!!!”  It was Victini, the VICTORY POKEMON!  It was no doubt FOREIGN to this land, and was ever-so-joyful with its play session as it dashed through through the trees until it spotted something... or rather SOMEONE!  Victini dives into a bush nearby and peeks out to try and IDENTIFY and CONFIRM the person it had seen in the open field it almost passed through.

Truth be told, James was scared. He knew all too well how much was at stake if the boss didn’t send someone to bail or break him out- and with his track record, that wasn’t looking too likely.

As the officer left the room, James looked down and started to fidget with the handcuffs that locked his left wrist to the table. He was desperate for a distraction from both the Champion and the menacing Garchomp behind her.

He risked a glance up just in time to catch Cynthia’s glare; James tried to return it, unsuccessfully. The mention of prison time sent a fresh wave of dread straight to his gut; he grimaced and did his best to shut it out.

“I-I won’t betray Team Rocket!” he stuttered out. “Actually, I’ve never even heard of Team Rocket,” he added stubbornly. “My partner and I work alone and that’s all there is to it!”

His voice was a squeak but he’d at least stay loyal.
