From your recent post - "The intersection of semen and the egg are both needed in order to cause life, neither is stronger than the other." - not always. Many life forms can reproduce w/o the need of others of the opposite gender, and some species (e.g.: mushrooms) have WAY more than 2 genders. The view of a binary nature to reality is, frankly, a very human invention. Not saying it's wrong, and I agree that 'masculine' forces can use a boost lately, but remember: gods don't have genitals :-)
Def not saying there aren’t forms of life that require gender or anything but in a magickal history context its the creation of life that is revered as some of the deepest most potent forms of magicks humans and even gods do.
I also am not coming at this through a social perspective I have friends of all genders and spectrum conforming not conforming etc.
But in a magickal history perspective it was the joining of both the masculine and feminine this intersection was the root of a lot of magickal power. (examples with a lot of shamans floating in the between of both) and what not.
But in a modern contemporary perspective theres a huge emphasis on the idea of fertility being a feminine trait. The womb vagina and egg being central figures in fertility. Which is fine, but its ignoring a large aspect of fertility.
Sperm and egg are needed for human life however a person identifies as or is, or was doesnt matter, or even how. This intersection needs to occur.
What im talking about is the divine masculine and magickal masculine traits needs to be treated as just as fertile and powerful as the divine/magickal feminine.
Not every person needs to revere in the feminine aspects of magickal tradition to be consider powerful strong fertile and magickal. I think there is a big lack of respecting masculine beings, and masculine traits within magickal tradition.
This lack of revere for masculine beings and magick, is strange and needs to be examined because the occult world is a male dominated world. Even though all the males have historically been influenced by female practitioners.
But its strange because its almost as a over compensating for something, like theres a world of male magickal shit out there.
Its something that should def be looked at through critical eye.
Also this post is not about constructed gender or anything like be who you are whoever or however that is. This is strictly talking about it through a magickal history perspective
