to be quite honest I think Shiv and Matsson would, in fact, be a very fun couple. They are both clearly into power plays and (it's at least insinuated on Matsson's part) they like to use sex as a tool to get what they want, and to get one over on other people.
Both think they are way smarter than what they are, and would have a delightful time fucking each other over in new and interesting ways (while, possibly, divorced Tom is in the background trying to keep the company afloat. lmao)
Most importantly... Matsson would not "break" when Shiv played with him, like she had apparently done with Nate and Tom. In fact, Lukas would like her more for trying, I bet. They could tell each other they hated each other, fully serious and to each other's face, and be more functional as a couple after it happened. Matsson would delusionally believe he's never lost once between them, and so would Shiv, and it could be glorious.
