"A Dying Wish" by Shmx

Spontaneous Shmx is the best Shmx. When it was announced last night that the popular internet producer was dropping tape just for the hell of it, I was pleasantly surprised. After all, it seems like Shmx tends to save his production for MCs that, more often than not, take his work to a whole 'nother level. With this project though, every beat fits into a nice, cohesive whole. Thanks to the use of vocal samples, this isn't just a collection of unused beats. Instead, it's one, fully fleshed out project, elevating it past the title of beat tape. "A Dying Wish" is a very strong showing from Shmx, so here's to hoping that we can get more nice little EPs like this some time in the future.
