I shifted on the way home from doing instacart tonight

The moon is a waxing gibbous and driving home I felt a werewolf shift, which isn’t something I’ve (noticeably) experienced since I was an adolescent.

Normally my shifts are very loose, meaning like I have a general idea of what I feel, like paws, tail, ears, etc.

But this time it was so vivid, I could feel a brown coat, fangs and a snout, ears and tail, but most vividly fur. It reminded me of this wolf form I’d dream about a lot as an adolescent, the last time I dreamt of her was maybe sometime when I was 18.

I’ve been disconnected but I think it might be a sign towards my questioning werewolf kin (as well as a more wolf-like type, I guess in a similar way to how Twilight wolves are more wolf-like, but not the same? Maybe more like a Fenrir of some type but I’m not 100% on that.

I always called this brown wolf Shona, and I’m not entirely sure if that is her name but that is what sounds right to me at the moment. We will see with time, but since I don’t experience super strong shifts often (typically it’s a few shifts that I feel all the time, mostly with my ears and instincts), I wanted to note them here.
