I don't think we've run into anyone's totem puzzle being that broken, so we'll definitely want to make sure that we keep an eye on it. 😅 LOVED reading your thoughts, and a bit of trivia for that last point: the wooden grave markers on 233 are for the workers who died there while building Gehn's office! If you look closely you can see Gehn using them as fuel in his fire pit.

Thanks, I will, but I want to replay the game again to make sure they're actually bugs. I do remember seeing a different image for totem #6, but I didn't go back and check again afterwards, so it could just be that I misremembered. I looked into the issue with the moths near totem #5 a bit more, and apparently you can see the shape of the frog if you stand in a particular place and look at the shape the moths make on the path, so I'll check if I can see that one, too. It doesn't make much sense to me as a puzzle, since the Moiety don't really have control over what the moths do and can't ensure they land in the right places, the way they could have control over how the tree grew, but that's just poor design, I think, and not a bug. (It also didn't make sense to me why the moths would glow under the lens - in totems 1, 3, 4, and 6, and in the hints about how to get to the room with the Tay book, all the glowing markings seem to be painted on, and I could see the flowers on the tree glowing if they had been used to make the paint, but I can't imagine that the moths' wings are made of the same stuff, or that alternatively, the Moiety somehow managed to paint them all. So a lot of unanswered questions about totem #5, really.)

I had no idea that those wooden things were grave markers, but that makes a lot of sense. I noticed there was that new section in Gehn's lab journal about how he sacrificed villagers to get a link set up on Age 233 - I actually like that there's now really unambiguously clear evidence that Gehn is evil and hateful even before you meet him, now - I remember a long time ago, I saw someone post on a Myst forum that when they played Riven 1997, they empathized with Gehn and believed his story and wanted to help him reunite with Atrus and were confused when there wasn't an obvious way for them to do that in the game (although technically if you open the fissure before trapping Gehn, you do get that ending...). I think (or at least, hope) that that isn't a normal interpretation for the 1997 game, but it is apparently one that someone had. I think it's probably a lot harder to come to that conclusion about Gehn in Riven 2024.

You can find more of her work at Claire Hummel. ...I've lightly modified the images in PhotoShop - so they fit the mesh properly, and without blurriness. The mesh is EA's Night Life: "A Sim Noir Print"/paintingLargeComic. Package/file names match the names of the works. These paintings have been Compressorized!

Not the best quality but my discord server insisted I share these monstrosities with the internet. They were summoned forth using @shoomlah ‘s Unicorn Art Meme 

First its It Him, who has a camel face, void eyes, two pairs of donkey ears, flame horn and mane, dikdik body, bison hooves, a lion tail (also on fire), who is neon green with a paisley pattern (I cheated) and his ability is to summon slime (not pictured)

Secondly is Dan From Game Grumps. He is moose face, too many goat eyes, a saxophone horn, Kenny G’s hair, pangolin body, human teeth hooves, snake tail and pearlescent colour. His special ability is, what are you talking about? He’s just Dan From Game Grumps.

As you can see i did not put much time into either of these

I made a dress based on Claire Hummel’s pink aurora dress design! Their original work is found here. If anyone wants it in a different skin tone let me know!

[id: animal crossing custom design based on Claire Hummel (@shoomlah)’s design. The bodice is a dark pink, with dark stripes. At the top of the bodice is a white fir trim with black spots, it hangs slightly off the shoulder. The sleeves appear to be tight with a sheer outer layer starting just above the shoulder. At the waist is a gold chain, which slightly hangs down. The over-skirt parts in a few areas, showing a pale pink under-skirt with gold trim.
