“Oi, Shin-chan, don’t you think this is a bit too much trouble for such a tiny thing?” Takao breathed heavily while he was pedaling the Rickshaw up the hill. Sometimes he really wondered why he was still doing this for his ace. Ok not sometimes... quite often actually. Takao would have sighed, wouldn’t he have needed his breath for something more important.

Either he was blind with love, completely insane or Shin-chan gave him some drugs or something. Or he used some kind of Zodiac magic. Knowing the shooting guard, it was probably true.

Takao grinned at the image of Midorima wearing a huge wizard hat with golden stars on it while he rambled down some kind of stars related spell. “Seriously though, I can’t believe you really woke me up at 7am on a Saturday. I need my beauty sleep, Shin-chan!”

Pros:

Who even knows about Midorima but it would sure as heck make Takao happy

Midorima would probably also be happy… eventually… once he admitted things to himself… which wouldn’t happen for a million years honestly. But if he did he might actually smile and laugh? Wow

Takao will literally die for you what more do you want

Midorima is huge and Takao is small and Takao can curl up in his lap and be warm and adorable

Cuddles… if Midorima ever decides it’s okay to be within 100 feet of Takao

Shuutoku’s light and shadow

Midorima will be lonely without Takao because who else is going to love him as much as Takao does. No one

They’d stop being so jealous of other people all the time

Okay that’s a lie there are cons.  I think honestly despite everything they get on each other’s nerves all the time. Although Midorima is way more vocal about it, sometimes Takao just wants to slap him for being unresponsive. So yeah I guess Midorima would get annoyed a lot and Takao would feel underappreciated and they’d both grump about it. Which is kind of what they already do now.

Takao will always feel mildly inferior and it would affect his self esteem but it already does as well

They’d probably still get jealous for different reasons. At least in the beginning
