Izuku is rambling, his nervousness obvious but Shoto is unbothered by the stream of words flowing unchecked from his long time friends mouth. If anything, he finds it a little bit adorable. Some things never really change, and it is a comforting thought to know that at his core, Izuku was one of them.

"You are always welcome, no matter what time it is." The sentiment is given with a soft smile, the words quiet and sincere. Although not very social himself, Shoto was always happy to see his friends, even at odd, unannounced hours such as this. Izuku had been away for a while, working overseas for several years and it had been a while since he had seen the other hero's face on something that wasn't a magazine or television screen.

"Thank you. It took a lot of work to get Third Degree to it's current state, although your praise should really be going to everyone inside. It's thanks to them that the building is even functioning." Without everyone who worked under him, Shoto's agency would never have made it off the ground. Even on a day to day basis, his secretaries are the only reason he can even function properly as head of the agency.

"You've been busy, of course, in America? How were your studies?" As he asks the question, he steps aside, inviting Izuku into the building with a sweep of his arm.

The poor thing desperately trying to slip out of the alienette’s clutches. Pearly whites are on full display; the smile so wide & triumphant of her catch. 

❝ I caught this one with my BARE HANDS! Camping is great, I could do this forever. ❞ She’s quick to jump out of the lake with water trailing behind her, her free hand is reaching out to pull Midoriya along for the next adventure.

❝ ━━ ✧ it’s a silly enough question that she almost laughs, but then she looks over at him again and feels worry bubble up. ochako takes a moment to catalogue that smile she likes loves so much, turned just a bit reckless at the edges. the adrenaline and giddy triumph that pours off her friend in waves is contagious ! she’s swept up in the euphoria - she’s so proud of him, he’s come so far - but 

well. it’s better than those early days of training, that’s for sure. ❛    deku, you broke your nose !  ❜ compared to what he’s capable ( and likely to ) break on a daily basis it isn’t to bad, but she still all but shoves her towel underneath his face. ❛    you slammed headfirst into that wall !   ❜

❝ ━━ ✧ as far as days goes it’s perfect ! the spring sunshine is bright and pleasant, the air fragrant with the perfume of new blooms. above them the sky is a splendid robin-eggs blue, interspersed with only spun cotton-candy clouds. she’s already sighted a bus and a rabbit amongst their shapes. her finger points skywards to outline another, this time a sort of abstract dinosaur, before izuku’s soft voice calls her. 

when she turns to look at him with a smile in her eyes and flush on her cheeks she’s greeted in kind by a look so tender that she almost glances down and away at first. she’s not sure he means to be so obvious with it but she’s getting better at picking them out. his heart is worn on his sleeve more so than even her own; she’s so lucky to be trusted with it. 

perhaps that’s a silly thought considering izuku is so giving and so loving by nature, but she still feels special every time he looks at her like this. like she’s taken the sun into her mouth and swallowed it whole and all he wants to do is bask in her light.

uraraka feels the same way. 

❛    what did you say, deku ?  ❜ but she’s interrupted by the soft brush of his hand against her bangs. her hair’s growing longer this year, nearly brushing her collarbones. she thinks he likes it for how often he’s touching it, touching her. or maybe he simply can’t help himself: they’re both just as free with their affections. 

either way she leans into his gentle, now familiar touch. when he pulls away a flower, bright as the midday rays, rests behind her ear. out of the corner of her eye she can see its vibrance. the giddy feeling bubbling sachrine in her chest spills out as laughter.

she takes that same palm of his and kisses it with butterfly softness.

She tapped the syringe in her hand against the brick wall as she watched.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

He was gorgeous, he always was. She loved watching him go about his daily routine which was actually about as far from a set routine as you could get, but that's what made it fun. It was always a surprise, and he never slowed down. Her favourite hobby was disguising herself as a citizen and 'getting in trouble' when he was nearby so he would save her. It was the only way he would talk to her without trying to kill her.

Okay, maybe he wasn't literally trying to kill her, but she was up to twelve 'rescues' so far, and he had never failed her. Of course he hadn't, how could he? He was probably as close to a 'true' hero as any pro could claim.

She reached into her bag and pulled out a small vial, the blood of a woman she had met on the subway. It had been so easy to get her plasma, just a small bump against someone in the crowd and they rarely ever even notice the pinch when she drains them. Not her preferred method, but it was the easiest. She pops the top and drains the vial. Her flesh melts away, replaced quickly by Subway Woman's skin. She shudders once the transformation is done, wishing it was someone else's skin wrapped around her own.

She checked her watch before stepping out from the alley and onto the sidewalk. The bombs she had planted in the grocer across the street would go off in five...

Annnd there's the excitement. Well at least he knows the nerd is goin' to do their half of the work. If by chance the nerd's work doesn't meet his expectations, well he'll make them do it again. They ain't getting less than 100% on this shit.

That was a fair point. Picking up the instruction sheet, he reads over the job shadow section once again. Nerd was right, none of the agencies listed were run by two heroes.

"Doesn't specify, but fuck it. We got a few days to do this shadow shit. Since it doesn't say we can't hop, let's just do it. 'Sides what it really wants us to do is make sure the heroes know we're comin' so we don't surprise'em." He reaches for his pen and takes the list with the hero agencies.

"I wanna do Best Jeanist." He circles it with his red pen before sliding the paper toward his partner.

"We're gunna make this the best damn presentation, so no slacking," he barks, "so let's sign up before the rest of the extras take the agencies we want."

i do not! while of course i would love it if they were, i never expect them to be. not every ask is answered in a way that can be continued, and sometimes the asker just doesn't want to continue it and that's totally fine!

i see memes / asks as a way for two muses ( or muns ) who don't know each other that well to start interacting, and get used to how the other writes / is written. or for muns and muses who are close to get closer.

rambling aside, asks are just a quick and easy way to interact with each other and i will never be hurt or offended if someone doesn't continue them.

     Exhaustion plagued One For All's every step.  Worn down from his illness, from a lack of sleep and eating, from… everything.  With his brother at long last imprisoned, he'd managed to get the will for one more escape attempt…

    It… wasn't going well.

    While he'd managed to deactivate the shock aspect of his monitor, it was still deep in his neck.  Still tracking him.  Its mere presence flooding his mind with the paranoid thought that Garaki may well send the caretaker Nomu to collect him at any moment.  To drag him back kicking and screaming into that vault.

    The First was trying to abate his fear by remaining in more populous areas.  Places that a kidnapping would be easily noticed in.  Places where maybe, just maybe, he could be helped.

    He stumbled, losing his balance in his weakened state and harshly bumping into someone as he walked.  Quickly he moved back, hands up as though wary of being hit.  "Ah- I'm sorry- I didn't mean- ...S-sorry."  The First felt as weak as he looked, as frail as he looked.   His deteriorating condition was clear to see, and it weighed on him.

    And was part of the reason why he didn't notice the pull of One For All that connected him to this other- this young Holder.  “I wasn’t looking where I was going.  Are you okay?”
