Are you familiar with The Waverly Hotel? Because I knew that hotel inside and out, I especially knew the mall underneath and it’s arcade and movie theatre. But especially the arcade. (The arcade is no longer there, but I think the theatre is.)
My mum’s chiropractic conventions were mostly based ‘round Marietta / Atlanta. I spent my summers at Six Flags Over Georgia and going to Braves games, but mostly running ‘round the hotel — especially in the winter months. The first time I experienced snow was on a Georgia hotel rooftop at night. It was magical.
I’ve got a lot of Southern in me.
