Pinero - Seekin The Cause (by Alessandro Lo-Presti) miguel pinero is one my favorite contemporary poets. he was from the lower east side. he spent alot of time in prison, where he wrote poetry and the movie called, “short eyes". he also wrote for miami vice. this clip is from the movie called, “pinero". alot of his poetry was street influenced and based on his life experiences.
