what book/series do you read? and could u suggest any for me? im open for any type but i really like ones that have some sort of knowledge behind them. Thank you
To be honest, these days I’m mostly reading non-fiction - books about faith and history mostly. BUT I have a few recs! My favorite series is A Song of Ice and Fire - the Game of Thrones series is excellent and I love it, but the book series is even better. Martin’s writing is INCREDIBLE.
I’m also slowly making my way through The Final Empire, the first book in the Mistborn series. I’m enjoying it, and I know @kokorodaki likes it as well, and @shorty-cake, on whose recommendation I started it. Hailey, by the way, is well-read and I have utmost trust in her opinion on books - she also recommends The Kingkiller Chronicle - I read the first book, The Name of the Wind, which mesmerized me. I ultimately had some issues with it, but I can’t deny that it’ll gobble you up (and loads of people love it).

4. List 5 your favorite past childhood TV show. Hmm…this is sooo going to date me, hehe. Here goes: Ducktales, Alvin and the Chipmunks, He-Man, G.I. Joe, and Transformers. 10. Your thoughts about today’s generation versus your generation.
Oh gosh…hmm…I think the upcoming generation is wayyy more capable and knowledgeable than mine. Technology and their interest in technology has certainly contributed. I do think they may be a little more prideful though, as in “I know what’s best for you and if you don’t agree with me you’re an idiot.” That worries me, because I worry that strangely enough, they’re less open than my generation is.

In a way, it’s great, because I never really have to worry about being out of control or not being able to navigate back to wherever I need to be.
On the other hand, drinking gets so expensive and after half an hour it’s like “well, I’m sober again” while everyone else is falling out of their chairs.
