So I just reread idw’s shotfc mini series, and a line of text caught my attention:

"You must commit hara-kiri. You will die, oroku saki, but you will not be reincarnated. The magic of the demon will bind your spirit to this form for all time."

So basically the problem with tatsuo takeshi was that was just gonna keep reincarnating forever cause he was the dragon warrior. Now, however, his soul is bound to saki’s body, which means that if shredder is killed, tatsuo’s soul dies with him.

I mean, his body is probably like super strong, but I’m pretty sure it can, and will, be done at some point. Now the question is how.
