do you ever meet someone’s (your own) parent (as an adult) and go oh that explains so much
#it’s the constant gaslighting#like she gets upset and acts like i am the one who is upset!!!#idk if she genuinely believes it or not??#but she just projects everything on to everyone around her#never apologizes and has no self awareness whatsoever#and i have to take the blame for having been in a bad mood when like. i was in a perfectly good mood#but she just. has no idea. she starts shouting at me in the middle of paris and i have not said a single word and then she said i am#shouting AT HER#it’s like she lives in a whole different reality and it’s impossible to even?? idk???#but as a kid#i genuinely didn’t realize this was happening#i just have this self image as a very bad person who is always causing problems#but like. it’s literally not me
