Out of all the reasons to love Andi Mack one of my top favorites is the lighting
A lot of shows, specifically for younger audiences recently, are clearly filmed with studio lighting. Everyone glows as if light is falling on them from 17 different angles. It looks painfully fake.
Andi Mack doesn't look like it uses studio lighting. The lighting looks realistic to what the real world looks like. And that makes it so much easier to immerse myself into the universe. It feels a whole lot more real than recent Nickelodeon and Disney channel live action shows.
I don't know where they film Andi Mack, so it may or may not be in a studio, but it looks a lot more realistic than other shows lighting and I really love it.
