Yes! That scene was done so well. Don't see enough appreciation for the amazing acting and directing there.
Yeah, I suppose it doesn’t get as much attention because it’s not a Jamie x Claire scene? And I don’t mean that in a snarky way! It’s just that I know Jamie and Claire’s relationship is much more popular in the fandom, so naturally their scenes get more attention.
But yes, that scene really does deserve a lot of appreciation, because it was so beautifully done. So haunting.

finally watched last week’s Outlander and I think it was a definite improvement over the book, although I still wasn’t totally thrilled
