I got my Skype working! I have no idea what computer spec stuff you have so I won't drop any specific links but here's what I did

Uninstall Skype

Use google or w/e to find an older version of Skype

Install older version

Sign-in and go through advanced options to turn off automatic updates

and it's working fine for me now. hopefully that works for you too ;u;
