well i’m glad you ask nonny!! allow me aka the biggest arvin russell stan ever to present my essay: first we look at tom as peter parker. baby boy, soft curls, human sunshine. but at the end of the day he’s still a high schooler, so there’s more of fondness than attraction.
then we look at cherry, so much different from peter. before everything went down, he’s an awkward college student with a wig that is arguably cute. he’s the type that you would walk into a party and spot from the other side of the room, thinking “he’s kinda cute” but you won’t find him hot at the first sight. after his life becomes a mess, you ain’t gonna call him attractive either. even if we ignore the plots and just talk about the looks only: yes bald tom is hot, but is his bald head more attractive than his curls? anyone who says yes is simply lying.
finally, let’s talk about tom as arvin. i think they dyed his hair darker in tdatt, tho i could just be reaching. still, the long hair? superior. the denim looks? a true bicon. the edgy bitch + depressed thot vibe? top tier. despite being flawed, he’s still the only hero in the story, and is always ready to destory anyone who doesn’t drink their respect women juice. in conclusion, the energy tom radiates as arvin is just *chef kiss* thank you for coming to my ted talk xoxo
