ghost of the phantom au where joker dies in the interrogation room and he wakes up as a ghost

au notes and stuff below:
joker died in the interrogation room on nov 20 after akechi came in to kiII him. the catch is- he doesn't remember that ever happening at all. the first thing he saw when he woke up in the interrogation room is the gun placed on his body's hand.
all he remembers is his time during tokyo, and nothing beyond that. he remembers up until they started planning against akechi- he remembers infiltrating sae's palace with the phantom thieves and akechi, but nothing about the plan to trap akechi and fake his death.
he has been wandering tokyo for years after his death, trying to look for the other phantom thieves (if they're still alive!) thing is, he just can't seem to remember where to go. he'll think he can remember where he's going, and next thing he knows, he's somewhere else.
pretty much the same as he was when he was alive, but a lot more mischievous and dances to the same tune he usually does as if he were in the metaverse as joker.
during occasions where he loses himself and goes unstable, his abilities as a ghost become a lot more efficient.
should he try too hard to remember anything he's forgotten, there's a possibility for him to go berserk and unstable- he may react is if he was in danger and attempt to defend himself with a dagger similar to the one he used as joker back when he was alive. the only way to appease him is to remind him of who he is, or if someone reminds him of their bond or who they are.
he becomes very agitated at the sight of syringes and needles too, so this can also cause him to become unstable.
negative emotions from people around him also seem to affect him- he amplifies those negative emotions, but those negative emotions also causes him pain and can make him unstable as well.
ghost shenanigans - joker can pass through walls, objects and people. he can cause chills and cold spots and sort of just floats around, although he can walk on the ground. he can twist his head around for some reason, and can possess people for a certain amount of time- but depending on how strong someone's willpower is, they could probably expel him out of them.
more ghost shenanigans - he can physically hold objects, but this would also depend on how large it is, and it's not for a long time. this means he could also physically interact with the people he trusts (the phantom thieves and confidants) but this does exhaust him very much.
again drop me asks or share your thoughts bc i do wanna expand on this- akechi looks slightly different here cus it's post-canon, but i don't actually have plans for other characters in this AU yet cus i really just made these on a whim for my rp account LMAO
post-canon akechi grew his hair out as an homage to his mother (stole that one from @/strialternatives lol) but he also finds it hard to take care of, so he ends up keeping it at a specific length if not shorter...
also i think . prominent canines that he just expertly hid very well during detective prince era
