Send 😭 to meet my muse as a lost child

Raena blinked a few times as she looked around. She and her mom had been out and about doing some Christmas shopping and Raena had somehow gotten separated from her mom. She glanced around, trying to spot her mom in the large crowd of people. “M-Mommy..? Mommy!” She called, hoping that her mom would hear her, though her mom probably wouldn’t hear her over all the noise in the mall right now. Tears welled up in her eyes and she quickly pushed her glasses up just enough so that she could wipe her eyes and not smudge her glasses.

She looked around again, trying one again to spot her mom in the crowd. She didn’t see her mom anywhere! Maybe she should ask someone to help her find her mommy? Yeah..She quickly shuffled over to a random person and tugged on their pants leg, trying to get them to look down at her. “U-Um..I..I l-lost my mommy? C-can you h-help me find h-her..?” By this point tears were streaming down her cheeks. She didn’t want to seem like a cry baby but she was scared and upset. She just wanted her mommy.

She wasn’t watching where she was going. She was running through the crowded streets. Where was she going? The library. She felt like checking out some new books. Suddenly she collided with something and she let out a groan when she fell right on her butt. She had closed her eyes when she had run into whatever it was she had run into so she hadn’t realized that her glasses had fell off, though as soon as she opened her eyes she knew that her glasses were missing.

“Ah! My glasses!” She felt the ground around her, trying to find her glasses, though she didn’t find them. She looked up to see what she had run into, though everything was a big blur to her..Was that a person..? It was! She had run into someone! She let out a squeak and covered her face with her hands. She felt so bad now. “I..I..I’m so sorry!”

IF he hadn’t been so desperate for a caffeine-fix ( everything aches these days but this particular itch he CAN scratch ) Matt might have noticed how NICE the coffee shop is with its COZY-LOOKING armchairs and EVERYTHING. ( really, isn’t it just the kind of place where you want nothing but to curl up with your laptop or a good book and just forget everything for a little while, frayed nerves soothed by a warm beverage and gentle background music? ) But he is, caffeine-starved that is, and bitten by the MERCILESS and COLD autumn air to boot. So it is little wonder that Matt, desperately trying to fit more of his body into the sleeveless vest he’s wearing, notices nothing but the small line leading up to the counter and the BLESSED scent of coffee wafting through the air. The BIGGEST, BLACKEST, STRONGEST drink the place can offer, fuck yeah, it’s practically calling his name.

NUMB from the cold, it takes Matt until it’s his turn to order to get his wallet. Huh... There’s not much cash left. “Coffee. Black. In the closest thing you have to a bucket.”

The poor barista doesn’t get as much as a look. Matt is already scanning the tables for an empty one because like fuck is he going back out there until he’s properly warmed up. The homey atmosphere still doesn’t register ( is it the orange tint protecting his vision or is he too JADED to make note of such things? ) as he sweeps over the place and finds the darkest, most uninviting corner ( which is still rather quaint, all things considered ) in the entire shop. Perfect.

Kaliyah had been with this strange many for only a few days and was already hating her job. Yes, she learned that her kind served demons and protected this but, certainly this was in the job description. Cooking? Cleaning? She wasn’t some maid. Yes, she enjoyed cooking but, cleaning was another matter. This guy should clean on his own. He was certainly old enough to know how.

“I know your the own of the house and I am living under your rules but, Do your own laundry!”

Was all she said as she pushed the basket towards him. She wasn’t a maid. No way would she do this part. The others were kind of okay but, this was a no. A big fat no. “Oh also, since I am doing the cooking. Stay out of the kitchen.” Kaliyah, this is even your house. Don’t make the rules like you owned it.

hey, i just wanted to let you know that there’s no need to stress about it! i’m also a multi-muse/oc blog but people still interact with me. sometimes you’ll have to take the initiative and be the one to message them about rping or etc.

I know, but the thing is, I am almost always the one to take the initiative. It grows tiring after awhile.
