Possibly I am from another era but the obsession that people have with eroticizing everything in GO is sick. People transfer their fantasies to the series. It stops being a story of love and humor and becomes wild adventures in the bedroom. And it's not that sex is bad, it's not about retrograde moralism. It is seeing everything through the lenses of eroticism. I don't know if the audience is very young or if I've simply read a book and watched a different series.

Dear One Direction Fans (the mean ones)

I’m really sick and Tired of One Direction fans telling me my music is stupid and bad and sends bad messages. So I decided why not let’s compare music shall we. Even though were in totally separate genres of music that have basically nothing in common. You want to compare music let’s do this. Now since you say my music is stupid let’s just compare my favorite band Pierce the Veil to 1D.

Now A Match into Water is about Vic’s (the singer) ex- girlfriend who has been fighting breast cancer. She recently finished her last chemo- therapy treatment and he wrote the lyrics about how proud he is of her making it through all of the pain in the treatment all on her own. Now the lyrics  talk about how terrible it would be to lose someone you love dearly that you couldn’t even bear the thought of what the world would be like without them. That you would go to great lengths to keep you alive. The song is basically saying that if you died there would always be someone who would cry for you and feel pain. That there’s always someone who loves you.

Live While Were Young basically another way of saying the all too famous and all the all too annoying YOLO. Their talk about partying and having fun and living life with no regrets which you know is great to a certain length. It also says this “I know that we just met but let’s pretend its love, tonight let’s get some and live while were young” Now if I’m not mistaken basically there saying let’s have sex even though were not in love and no emotional attachment. Even though I just found out your name hour ago and know nothing about you let’s get really drunk have a good time and have premarital sex. Are you asking for an STD?

I don’t even know where to begin. So what you’re telling me is one direction’s music sends a better message? The sad part is you have 9 year old listening to this. Music that encourages not saving yourself for marriage, and drinking until you incoherent and can’t even remember your own name.  This isn’t the only song of theirs that encourages that behavior anyway so don’t even try to tell me it isn’t or that they sing about how being imperfect makes you beautiful especially considering the only girls I’ve ever seen them date or no bigger than a size 2 and are drop dead gorgeous. Most of their music they don’t even write themselves. And personally I think all their music sounds the same its kind of repetitive and annoying. They were basically created by the music industry you think Simon Cowell didn’t know they would be a huge success. I mean you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know girls would be dropping the panties left and right. Look at the facts they are 5 very attractive boys with very hot accents and they can sing. I’d bet that if they were all ugly teenagers they wouldn’t be a band right now. FOR CHRIST SAKE THEY DIDN’T EVEN WIN THE X FACTOR AND THEY STILL GOT A RECORD DEAL! But then there’s my music. The music that tells you there’s always someone who cares about you. Someone who will always be there for you that no matter what you’re never alone. Now there is argument about which music is better. There is no such thing as ‘good music’ what sounds good to you may sound awful to me. But in the terms of who plays real music and who has real talent. I win. Why you ask? First off they play ACTUAL instruments when they are playing live and recording.  To my knowledge the only one who actually knows how to play anything is Niall (which adds to my point that most of the music they don’t even write) who plays guitar. But never live. And even if he does it’s not like he shredding an acoustic guitar. Tony Perry (lead guitarist) on the other hand he makes girls swoon with his guitar solos. I’m not even kidding the gifs on tumblr of him are like fricken guitar porn. And yes One Direction do have guitar in their music but the guitar is edited to a point where it doesn’t even sound like a guitar anymore. One Direction is talented as singers yes but a lot of people can sing really well. Not everyone can play instruments live while multitasking. People have the nerve to compare these 5 little boys to the Beatles…ARE YOU INSANE!?! No one will ever compare to the Beatles. There will never be the next Beatles. They didn’t have the technology we had to make music and they were still AMAZING. Maybe there the next In Sync or something but if you think they are anywhere near as talented as the Beatles there is something wrong with you and I suggest you become institutionalized or seek some kind of medical attention cause your fricken nuts. Just cause you’re music is more popular doesn’t make it better. An Artist is defined by the types of people who listen to them and their actions not by how many people. I’m not saying that all 1D fans are bad some of them are great. But a large amount of just….hateful. What really ticks me off is that a lot of fans think that somehow they are above everyone and that the things they do are completely ok no matter how many people they hurt. Running a hero’s named that just passed through the dirt is not ok. Saying that he deserved to die is not ok. Attacking his family and 5 year old daughter is NOT OKAY. Telling a Man his brother’s suicide was his fault is NOT OKAY. Saying he should kill himself is NOT OKAY! Just because you don’t like the music doesn’t give you the right to attack them at their weakest point that just makes you a coward. I have friends who dropped the 1D fandom because they didn’t want to be associated with their fans they were ashamed of their fellow fans. You guys have taken the fandom to a point of no return and honestly everyone is sick of you guys were sick of you on twitter,  were sick of you on facebook, were sick of you on tumblr, were sick of you on instagram, were sick of you on the internet. If the internet were a high school you guys would be the ‘Popular kids’ you think everyone loves you and worships the ground you walk on but in reality we all wish you’d walk into a dark forest and never come out.  Do you guys know why you’re not exactly the most loved fan base? It’s because there no loyalty not just to the band but each other. That’s one of the main reasons I love my music so much. We’re all family. When you’re fellow fan falls down you pick them you don’t trample over them. We all know what it feels like to feel like you don’t belong. When you think you have someone to lean on but you fall flat on your ass because your “Friends” weren’t there. We all turned to music because music is the only escape we have. We all owe something to the band we love not just for making music but for saving us. I owe every year I’m still living and breathing to the bands I owe a debt that I couldn’t pay off with all the money in the world. Here’s a piece of advice contrary to popular belief  that is spread by the music YOU like. Being popular isn’t everything in fact its nothing just cause you hang out with the “cool crowd” doesn’t make you shit. You know why cause as soon as they find something wrong with you something that doesn’t meet up to their idea of “Normal” or “cool” They’ll drop you like a hot coal and avoid you like you’re the plague. Believe me when I say I tried my hardest to keep out of this whole thing about the One Direction fandom but I’m tired of you guys. You keep pulling same shit insulting a person who says anything about One Direction that would suggest that they’re anything less than perfect and going after entire fan bases. In reality you guys can’t even say any of it to some ones face either you feel real big behind a computer screen but as soon as you enter the real world you guys don’t say shit. The sad part is like any other boy band they are going to fall out. It happened with every boy band in history what makes you think that they are any different? In the end yes One Direction has more awards then Pierce The Veil and probably any other band I love with a few exceptions. Yes they have a lot of hit songs. But I’m willing to bet all the money in the world that the bands I love have saved more lives with 1 song then One Direction has with all their music. That their lyrics have helped more people than One Direction can even dream of. And in the long run that’s all that matters that’s what makes my music special that’s what makes my music in my eyes the greatest. And it doesn’t matter what you think. Even if you could somehow prove me wrong I still wouldn’t believe you. Like my father always told me. The emptiest can makes the loudest noise.
