hey everyone ! i’m sure that you’ve all noticed the general lack of activity around here, lately, and you’re owed an explanation even if ultimately, this isn’t good news. for the time being, we have decided to place sidekick on hiatus ; all of us simply became too busy in recent weeks to be able to dedicate as much time as the rp required, and as much as we love you all, and the rp, we can’t continue to force it when our creativity just isn’t up to scratch. sometimes, an rp needs to have a rest before it can come back and be strong again - we think the same for sidekick. it’s been an incredible two years, give or take, and we have seen countless members, and characters, and plot lines pass us by - we’ve had fun ! we want to continue to have fun, but without making this choice, the rp as a whole would simply become a drag. we love you all, infinitely, and you’re all welcome to stay within the group chats if you so choose - you can keep talking, keep in contact, keep an eye out for the return, whatever you would like - and are of course welcome to add us as friends to keep in touch. we’d like to thank everyone who held through and stayed to the end, and just reiterate that... we love you all, and all of your characters, a great deal - we just need a little rest now, we think. love u 3000 !

hello, members ! due to a few recent ( as well as not-so recent ) concerns from member and admin alike, we want to again stress the sheer importance of plotting, responding to plot calls, posting your own plotting calls instead of reacting to others, & generally spreading out and trying to connect with new people instead of reverting to your friends. we know its hard, and even the admins are guilty of this at some time, but we all also know how it feels to have little reacts or unanswered messages. we want to, going forward, be better about straying away from what we commonly revert to. plotting with new members or people you do not usually is a very large part of making new connections, friends, and interesting plots. there is so much potential that’s squandered by going back to the same few people or not even taking time to look at the different characters the rp has to offer. we’re a big rp with people who have been here since the beginning, so it’s easy to lose track of new members and characters, but it takes no time to simply read an intro, plotting call, or send a msg.

surprise ! i’m the brand spanking new admin r, but * troy mcclure vc * you might know me as rachel, player of too many characters to easily namedrop and resident gmt idiot child ! you’ll know it’s me answering questions and posting on the dash when you see the jameela jamil gif icons. i’m not just being humble when i say that i wasn’t expecting this honor, so i GOTTA say a huge thank you to the rest ( ! ) of the admin team - i’m gonna do my level best to be the co they deserve, and i hope they know it ! i promise i don’t bite, so if you ever need me ; feel free to shoot me a message on any of my character blogs, or my discord !

we have a birthday page that’s used to keep track of birthdays , but when it comes to aging up your characters with every birthday , please message us so that we can edit the pages that are relevant.

heyo members ! please remember to tag all TRIGGERS on the dash ( discord as well ). we’ve got quite a few members with triggers and we’d had to make them uncomfortable or anxious with something like a trigger not being tagged.

hey guys !! it’s admin h and i’m back from vacation and with a new mascot , the loml , BREE KISH !! the main will start to look more active now , since the holidays are over. so give us a look , i’m happy to answer any questions.

As the rp grows, so does our need for a bigger admin team. We are currently in need of two regular co-admins and one who’s soul purpose is for promoing !! Application and more info under the cut. Please submit it into our submission box when you’re ready.

Co-Admin: As a co-admin you will do anything from updating pages, answering asks, doing activity checks and things behind the scenes like helping with events, tasks, plot drops, etc!! Basically whatever is needed!! 

Promo Admin: You will be in charge of promoting, which means keeping the promo blog up to date and always running!! Promoing on the main as well will happen if we’re slow. You will also help out with things behind the scenes. While your main job is doing promos, it won’t be limited to that.

Activity: Briefly talk about your activity and give us a number between 1 and 10 that will reflect your activity as an admin. 

Experience: Link us to any past rps if you think it’ll be helpful!! 

Ideas: This involves everything from plot drop ideas, events, tasks and other ideas to move our group forward.

About You: Talk about your weaknesses, strengths, what makes you a good candidate for the position(s). What’s your favorite thing about group rp? Talk about yourself! Hobbies, things about you that we probably don’t know!

Skills: Are you good with photoshop? Etc. (If have experience in photoshop, we’d love to see examples of themes, graphics, etc!) 

Mascot: Make sure to check out our banned list! Currently, we’d love to see mascots on the main that are poc, nb/trans, disabled and/or plus-sized (han, sara and lexie all have mascots that are plus-sized).

Discord: You MUST have a discord, since that’s our biggest way of communication.
