“I sure hope they’ll conveniently forget the number of times all that ‘bravery’ nearly got us killed.”

He chuckles, leaning forward in his seat as he pokes at the dying remains of the fire. Rarely do the twins get time to simply sit and talk these days–half of their conversations are all strategy and training and other such war-related nonsense, while the rest are them bickering at one another to take better care of themselves. If Shinri isn’t sick or on the verge of it then Adair always seems to end the day with more injuries than he started with. Really, the both of them should be sleeping, but by some chance, they’ve both found themselves wide awake tonight.

“S’ppose if I end up dying they’ll have to bring it up though, won’t they?” With the final push they intend to make in the following weeks, it was a looming possibility. The thought that had kept him from resting his head; despite the chuckle in his voice, there’s a pit of dread in his stomach. The prospect of what’s to come terrifies him.

“The bravest, huh…” He muses, stretching as he leans back from the fire and flopping onto his back. He can pick out the constellations in the sky above him--the guiding light of victory, Victini; the last great isshu king; the aura dancer... old legends of their people their mother had told them as children.

“...I guess that’s how I’d want it. Heh - imagine if they named a constellation after me if I die. I could be up there with all th’ great kings and heroes. That’s how I’d want to be remembered.” He sounds... almost distant, “Ephreith’s bound to be the big shot in charge when this is all over, right? Maybe I should bring it up with him. I’m sure a Harmonia would have the authority to do somethin’ like that...”
