The Landscape Performance Benefits of the Sidwell Friends Middle School are now available online as part of the Landscape Architecture Foundation Landscape Performance Series. The case study quantifies the amount of wastewater that is diverted from the District of Columbia sewer system, the reduction in use of potable water, the amount of material that was diverted from the landfill during construction, and the benefits of promoting environmental awareness for both visitors and students.
