Title: Captured Pairing: Siegcy ( Siegrain x Lucy ) Word count: 1349 Chapter: 1 of ?

A/N: This is a continuation of this thread, started on my old lucy acct, because it is purely from Lucy’s POV of what happened after she was captured. There will be rather vivid and darker themes involved, I’ll try to put any triggers in the tags.

The second she stepped through the invisible hole in the wall she froze, this was not the remnants of a disbanded dark guild, this wasn’t even what one could consider a guild. No it looked more like a hospital, or an insane asylum, and it caused the hairs on her neck to stand on end, clearly this was not what her job had originally entailed and without her keys she was essentially defenceless aside from her whip because when she had temporarily broken all contracts, she lost the ability to borrow their magic. Really any logical person would have turned around, ran straight back to the invisible wall that shielded the establishment from prying eyes, and continue on until there was nowhere else to go.

She was a Fairy Tail Mage though and they didn’t just back down without even attempting to recon information, at the very least. So with each hesitant step she took forward she made sure to commit everything to memory, down to how many steps it took from the wall to the entry, before slowly pushing the front double doors open. There really was no point in being subtle, they already knew she was here, their little illusion had proven that much, and this way she didn’t have to bother being careful or at least that’s what she thought until a voice rang through the room. The buildings PA system apparently worked to specific rooms, from what she could hear, which meant that whoever it was, was watching her every move.

“Ah, Miss Heartfilia. Thank you for coming.”

Such a simple, and relatively polite, greeting that in any other circumstance would have been responded to with a graceful smile but not this time. This was not a time for pleasantries and the fact they knew her by name only furthered her unease, this was no job, this was a trap, one designed to specifically draw her attention with a fake reward involving a celestial key and for the first time that day she listened to her instincts and ran back towards the entrance. Her hands pulling urgently on the doors to no avail, she felt fear trickle down her spine, they had been locked by some form of automatic sensor and her eyes scanned the room for another weapon or door to run through before she screamed in frustration in seeing nothing of use.

      “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!”

She was boxed in, all three walls having no form of door or window present and the fourth and only wall allowing for an exit already locked. Taking careful steps towards what she assumed was the reception desk in the centre of the room, she found it held no information whatsoever other than a ‘thank you for coming’ card and she groaned at the poor excuse of humour. She had to get out but that really wasn’t an option right now and so she attempted to push the desk forward and in front of the doors, they could see what she was doing but it made no difference, either she’d starve or they would have to eventually open the doors.

Her keys were nice and safe far away from here by now so she had nothing to protect anymore, other than herself, and it allowed her survival instinct to kick in as she waited. A chime sounding in the room, that signified an announcement, she stilled and was rather shocked to find that her earlier question was going to be answered, and with a chuckle no less, meaning they not only could see her but they could hear her as well and her habit of talking to herself when alone would need to stop this instant.

“You shall address me as Q for the remainder of your stay, Miss Heartfilia and I suspect you will give us strong results in our research. I do advise you to not resist however, it is simply in your best interests.”

Yet another shivering ran through her as the man spoke and she ignored them as she ducked down under the desk, pretending to cower like a frightened child, before tensing as she heard and felt the doors open, now was her chance. Flattening her body down to the ground she rolled out from under the reception desk and swept her leg in a semi-circle to make the three men standing in the now open doorway fall over before she picked herself up fast and sprinted out into the fresh air, her whip already in hand as she flung out her arm and wrapped the whip around an electrical pole, using it to propel herself forward and land with a thud a fair lengths away.

Instantly picking herself up once more, her legs already ached as she broke into a sprint in the direction she had come from earlier and a whimper escaped as she slammed straight into the invisible wall, her hands searching frantically for the hole before she let out a string of curses, she was sure this was where she entered, she remember the details exactly. Extending her whip up into the air she heard it crack as she attempted to catch it onto anything that she could use to scale the wall and pull herself over it. She refused to be captured by these people, she would not become a test subject or whatever the hell it was they intended to do with her and one half of her lip was pulled back as she snarled, her head snapping around as she heard the loud thud of feet rapidly closing the proximity, her attackers were approaching.

Body going rigid she crouched down slightly and took her fighting stance, beginning to grow desperate as she snapped out her whip once more to wrapped it around one of her attackers throat, growling at him as the other two stilled and she pulled it taught.

It didn’t matter in that moment that she was a Fairy Tail Mage, that their morals told them not to kill, she didn’t care who he was or even consider that he could have a family somewhere and she certainly didn’t notice that he wasn’t using magic, her only thought was that she had to escape, had to get home where her spirits and the man she loved were waiting for her, where her family was and so she pulled her attacker forward hard and ignored the snap she heard or the fact his body went limp as she grabbed onto his shoulders and shoved him with a lot more force than necessary into the other two men and made a run for it. Her breathing was laboured, coming out in harsh breaths and she no longer had access to the power she could normally draw from her spirits, her breaking of their contract ( even if just temporary ) broke all magical connection when severed and she continued to run.

Hurdling over a nearby tree stump, she looked around frantically as it sparked an idea and tried desperately to find a tree that she might be able to climb but they were all gone, the stone walls encasing her causing her claustrophobia to act up slightly before she noted a shimmer of light against the darkness and realized it was an opening. Not bothering to look as she raced towards it, the audible and fast paced thud of her heart deafening her from much else, she out stretched her arm in preparation when a large burst of electricity wracked her body and she seized up, her jaw locking as she groaned.

The shock alone wasn’t enough to take her down though, she was more resilient than that, but the unsuspecting dart piercing into the skin of her neck certainly did the trick as she slumped as the darkness of her unconscious began to take over and she hit the ground hard. Her vision blurring, the silhouettes of those running towards her turning into dark blobs as she managed to mumble three words under her breath before everything went black.

         “Im sorry... Sieg...”
