A week ago one of my son's school friends met an unfortunate end in a house fire. He was 12yo.
As a mom, it really shook me. Loosing a child is terrible, no matter the age. And I keep seeing this fundraiser, it's around for a while now, and the time is running out for a boy who needs gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It's literally the most expensive treatment there is.
And I really want to help them.
