Hey! Your blog is amazing! I just wanted to comment on the Ramin/Sierra thing. Personally they are my faves, but you're right, it's rude to completely dismiss the other amazingly talented performers who have come before and after them. And as much as I personally would have loved to see them live, ASKING CONSTANTLY ON FACEBOOK WON'T MAGICALLY BRING THEM BACK. They've moved onto other things and we need to respect that and the current performers. Sorry for the long message, just my two cents :)

See, you’re one of those who’s able to both support your favourites AND be open to the talents of others. Life gets so much richer then. What people don’t realize is that there’a always been people feeling that way. Imagine if Phantom history stopped with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, or Colm Wilkinson and Rebecca Caine, or John Owen-Jones and Celia Graham. The Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess would never have happened… Thing is that you don’t know what new awesome performers waits in the wings until you’ve seen them.Just be open to it, and every now and then you'll be blown away.

It really hurts my heart when I see negative comments on other Phantom's videos, just because they aren't Ramin/Sierra. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed their performances, and follow them on Twitter, they're sweet people, but I wish people would think how their comments sound. Not just saying that R/S are their favourites, but how they can't even watch any other pair, as it is 'just wrong.' I rather make it my duty to reply to those people on YouTube asking if they'd prefer the show to close?!

I agree. I saw a lot of comments on how wrong it was that Sierra Boggess played opposite Hugh Panaro on Broadway - because he wasn’t really her Phantom, and imagine how Ramin felt - stuff like that. I would think even Sierra/Ramin would feel uncomfortable reading those comments. Again, it’s not liking the performers I object against, but I dislike the couple worshipping. Both when people claim they “belong” together, be it in their private lives or on stage, and when people won’t even give other performers a chance.
