I just heard this huge commotion in the Holmes/Watson fandom and since I'm pretty new here I don't know much about this seemingly legendary fic, "Since First I Saw Your Face", when was it the last time that it updated? I just started reading it but I'm afraid my little heart might not survive it XD
It’s been in process for four years, and it last updated a year ago! You may in fact not survive it, but it will be a worthwhile death. I don’t normally read WIPs, but I make a standing exception for this one because if it never updated again I’d be forever grateful I read this far. It is genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime fic. (And for what it’s worth, they’ve gotten pretty far in it already. They know they love each other, and we know it will end well.)
