CREATING A SIGIL ✨

if you are looking for a fun way to begin your craft i highly suggest beginning with sigils. they’re super easy & effective.

note , there are multiple ways to form a sigil. this is one way to do so. the first 3 steps are the same for either method you use. good luck!🔮

you begin by writing an affirmation.

ex. “i am constantly protected from those wishing me harm”

note: The more specific you are the better. If you were trying to get a raise you want to be very specific.

then you will cross out the repeating letters until there is only one of each.

the next step seems tricky but it is very easy.

you want to make a chart with four rows & 9 columns.

a b c d e f g h i

j k l m n o p q r

s t u v w x y z

the top row should be the numbers 1-9.

row two should be letters a-i.

row three should be letters j-r.

& lastly , the final row should be letters s-z.

using the chart you just created, gather which numbers you will be using.

ex. letters a, j, & s are number one. letters b, k, & t are number 2, & so on.

after you have gathered all the numbers you will use, cross out the repeating numbers until there is only one of each.

again, you want to create a chart. this one will only be of numbers.

the row accross & three columns.

now using this chart & the numbers remaining for your sigil, Play connect the dots. If the numbers you have are 5, 3, 6, 8, 9. you want to begin at the five draw a line to the number two, then down to the six , down to the eight, & finish at nine.

it is important not to share your sigil . You want to forget that it is there. I recommend writing sigils in your concealer under your make up or on your mirror when you clean or any where you or others won’t necessarily see it. The magic in the symbol is that you forget that the symbol is even there. If you make a sigil for protection & you want to share it with others that is okay but make sure you are not sharing personal sigils.

I made a sigil into art~~

It’s a sigil to facilitate healing so I tried to use the colors of Apollo

Sometimes when I think someone needs it I will make them a sigil and charge it. Once it's ready I will give it to them or place it on their person. I've done this via cards, notes, notebooks, etc. Its my little way of actively trying to help others!
