Guerssen Records (Spain) has uncovered another gem - Keith Noble "Mr. Compromise". Originally issued as a demo in 1970, Noble clearly is of the psych/folk/pop tradition.

I immediately thought of The Kinks, and The Byrds. The Bandcamp page also mentions The Incredible String Band and Al Stewart. And if this is up your alley, check out The Optic Nerve - a 1980s band that plied this sound admirably (also reissued recently by Guerssen).

Noble was a member of early pre-Pink Floyd bands Sigma 6 / The Abdabs .
