Not the best quality picture, but one of the best moments of my life. I got to hug the life size statue of Alexander Hamilton at the Nation Constitution Center. Standing only slightly taller than me and in a way that made him really easy to hug, I hugged him for quite a while. I went and hugged other signers, but I was hanging on to Hamilton for quite a while. I've been to the Constitution Center before a few years ago with my school and it was amazing back then. It was so much more fun knowing who a lot of the people are. I talked to one of the workers there. He first asked me if I knew who I was hugging. Like I said I was really hanging on to Hamilton. He told me about the museum and some of the people. He realized I was into history and tried to quiz me. I got that when you are being quizzed you forget everything feel. I forgot what Roger Sherman did and he starting telling me and I was just like lol you right. Then he asked me to find the stature of Thomas Jefferson and at least I knew he wasn't there, but I couldn't remember where he was. He was in France. Then he called me a historian. I'm just like lol no. Most of what I know is from Wikipedia and tumblr. He then told me not to hug George Washington bc he hated being touched and he told me about Gouverneur Morris and Hamiltons bet of hitting Washington. I then went over and hugged Washington. Ok that was long I guess that's all for now. #philadelphia #hamilton #alexanderhamilton #nationalconstitutioncenter #constitution #constitutioncenter #signershall (at National Constitution Center)
