" Too late now, you're at the Beach. " Chishiya replies with an APATHETIC SHRUG as he regards the other while leaning back against the booth. The air conditioned restaurant section of the Beach sits empty and abandoned at this hour. Lunch has already passed which means the vast majority of people are either outside partying and playing games or crashed out in their rooms. Not Chishiya. But unlike most people who seem to find regular spots where you can catch them, Chishiya's near impossible to intentionally find. Where he is varies and never settles into a routine, which could be as simple as fickle nature if it wasn't for the OMNIPRESENT cunning gleam in his eyes that implies it's choice rather than happenstance.

HIS WORDS AREN'T QUITE TRUE. Yes, they're both at The Beach. But that has done nothing to stop the blonde's scheming ways. He has no intentions of getting cards to help other people leave this place, assuming the Hatter's theory is true ( and he doubts that. ) It's simply about patience, waiting until the perfect moment to strike for what he wants. Farleigh seems aware of SOMETHING, even if he's not quite sure what. Or he simply knows Chishiya isn't the kind of person to obediently serve others without a good reason. The other likes the party scene more, but he isn't stupid regardless of what he might have convinced others. Chishiya can appreciate that to some degree at least.

Dark eyes shift to glance at the camera in the corner of the room and then shift back to look towards Farleigh. JUST VISUALS, NO AUDIO. He's already had a peek to check that. " Unless, of course, you have a plan. " Chishiya adds casually, as if it were nothing more than an afterthought. He's not confirming that Farleigh is right to SUSPECT him of something, but he's not deny it either. He simply DOESN'T TRUST to reveal anything damning yet. " Although that probably would still require involvement to some degree considering the Hatter's antics and all. At least you don't have to sit in meetings. it takes him a second to even realize what farleigh is getting at. “…lunch?” he says, because he had skipped meeting up with his typical group. it wasn’t a huge deal, a girl from class had invited him for coffee, and austin had been happy to go along. it was whatever, but the scones had been good.

“sorry, uh. didn’t realize i was such a central part of the meal.” he jokes, eyebrows slightly furrowed as he tries to figure this all out. he’s still not sure that he gets exactly what the other is getting at. “do you… like… did you wanna talk to me, or something?”

"Shh, shh, shut the hell up!" The panic in Ender's voice is palpable, eyes frenzied with hysteria as his hand lifted to press a grungy finger to his lips. Chilled wind bellows hauntingly through the gaping fissures in the small building protecting them from the unforgiving elements. Icy drops of rain trickled down from cracks in the ceiling, coating the chipped floor in murky soil.

Silence comes in the form of a whispered breeze and the steady downpour that drips on for a while before the male lowers his palm, allowing a sigh to escape. His head falls back against the wall, his frame becoming limp. "Keep your voice low." He instructs. "You never know when one of them is lurking."

SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ON BEING MORE ASSERITIVE. which, actually, is very hard for her to do. if it wasn't obvious by, well, her entire demeanor - solveig tends to wilt like an un-watered flower under any kind of pressure or pushback. but still! she's trying. manages, for once, to stand her ground without the wobbling of her chin or lip (though, her voice is meeker than she'd care to admit or acknowledge). the look on her face isn't quite a pout (no, that simply wouldn't do), but it's on its way there. she sounds something like fond, if nothing else — it's step above the sharp tone reserved for strangers who won't leave her alone. that's something, right? sure, that something is more a sign that she's learning not to direct her ire at everyone when she gets overstimulated, but... that isn't the point.

vic taps the ash from the end of her cigarette, tips her head to look up, up, up at him. god, she always forgets how tall he is.

mapplethorpe can't help but scoff as he looks up towards the other, eyebrows furrowing together. it's always on him, isn't it? everyone always put the blame on mapplethorpe! his jaw clenches, his hands balling up into fists. he'll hide the fact he was annoyed by letting the long sleeves of his hoodie cover his hands. he'll just simply grin, a loud laugh leaving him. "ah, is it?" eyes narrow, his grin almost catlike as he takes a few steps forward. farleigh's height doesn't intimidate him, which was probably his first mistake.
