I love how useless-estoniafacts and useless-finlandfacts seem like best friends on tumblr - you mention each other daily! :D However you rarely speak about the other Baltic countries... how do you think most people in Estonia perceive Latvia and Lithuania? Any funny stereotypes about either of them?
I rarely speak of them because our relations are what they are :/ Estonia and Latvia work together on lot of things but don’t have the same language connection that Finland has with Estonia and that’s why Estonians consider Finns to be our brothers (and hope that the feeling is mutual!!).
Lithuania just seems to be there (we mostly cooperate on military and EU stuff) since before Soviet Union Estonians and Lithuanians rarely interacted in history.
Well it’s true fact™ that Latvians have six toes! And they’re obsessed with letter “s” because every word ends with s in Latvian :D We also call them “saldejums” sometimes (ice cream in Latvian). (LATVIANS WHY DON’T YOU HAVE USELESS BLOG, WHERE DID IT GO?? :(((( )
Lithuania is Vytautas water and Eurovision buddy. They’re also lot more temperamental and openly patriotic than Estonians (I mean nothing bad with that). However, every Lithuanian I’ve met is really cool! :)
