no!!!
i haven’t written in my hometown fic since i started my rewrite a few days ago (was it yesterday? that seems so long ago) but i just reread what i had, and i... i like it. and i think i know why
it’s different from the first version but it’s also... it’s a lot like the version i had in my head from way before i even knew it was going to be my hometown fic. all i knew back then was it was going to be a story about two friends reconnecting after high school on a park bench. i didn’t know what was going to happen afterwards, but i knew that, and i was okay with that
i guess it’s true when they say you should always trust your gut
