Sil'van
The Shepherd of Souls. Hope.
Sil'van is one of the oldest gods in the world. He comforts and soothes lost souls, easing them into a peaceful rest until they reincarnate. He is the most powerful being on the planet. He can take many forms, all of which have a silver and blue color scheme.
He is a kind and gentle person, soft spoken and timid. At one time, he traveled the world constantly, caring for the lost souls of both the living and the dead. It was common to see him resting In quiet forests and meadows when he finally chose to relax.
Sil'van is claustrophobic and gets extremely uncomfortable in tight spaces. He also doesn't like being hugged. He will actively writhe in your grasp until you let him go.
Unfortunately as fate would have it, Sil'van sacrificed himself to bind the world back together when Drevan and Rimi shattered it In their battle.
Sil'van now lies in the middle of the world, encased in a shell of magical steel. This steel is called Soulsteel, and it's veins are what help Sil'van pump his energy throughout Shorvalla to keep it alive. This steel is made from the condensed energy that Sil'van outputs. It is rare for veins to reach the surface, and even rarer for it to be used in weapons since it is so difficult to forge with.
Sil'van has been in his chamber for thousands of years, and has been fighting a constant battle with another entity. This entity is not physical, but it still saps Sil'van of his power and threatens to devour the world and send it into a state of decay.
Sil'van has grown weak, and his weakness has caused earthquakes and decay in some parts of the world. He tries desperately to fight his enemy, but he can't do it alone anymore.
In what felt to be his darkest hour, he fractured his soul and created a lesser deity to purge this invasive disease from the land. This fragment, Sil'tier, does her best to fight the disease that threatens to destroy the world.
