"Snowgies, Hector... Snowgies happened.” She was much too tired and frustrated to bother with telling him not to bother with her hair.
“Apparently they were excited to see me.”
He gave no warning. Lips pressing against Elsa's as an arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close. His free hand cupping her cheek, Héctor gently nipped at her lower lip as he lightly dipped her. His fingers softly ran through her hair before finally pulling back the smallest bit with a wide, loving smile on his lips.
KISS ME
Elsa’s eyes went wide with a pleasant kind of surprise as she fell back. Held up by only one of his thin but nimble arms as he pulled her in for a sweet, perfect kiss.
“Well, then...” Elsa said in barely a breath, “SOMEONE’S in good spirits.”

A judging finger pointed at his direction, she tiptoed as high as she could to catch his entire attention. Another day had gone by where she was in the police station...picking him up & clearing his name. For a good while he, in fact, did behave & not a word from the officials came to bother her. As the days went on, however, his streak became unstable, until it made him land where he was now. What was she going to do with him?
It hadn’t been minutes since they left the office, & her voice rang loud & clear for everyone around them to hear. Did she have shame in that? No--not when scolding her husband was all that she could think of. He tried to soften her up, but it was useless when all she could hear was excuses coming out of his mouth. His hand then reached for her wrist, in which she aggressively tried to pull away.
“ Don’t touch me. ¿Do you know what you’ve done? Don’t think that I’m going to let go of this anytime soon because-- ” Cut. Before she could finish her sentence, she was rudely interrupted by his lips touching hers, immediately silencing her as she was left stunned. Maybe she was still trying to accustom her life back to having a lover again in her life, meaning kisses like this should have been regular, but it had come out of nowhere that it completely left her speechless.
Metaphorical heartbeats going fast, it was when they pulled away that she blankly stared at him. It took a moment to process what had happened, & quite honestly, she didn’t feel like shouting at anymore. Instead, what remained was a disapproving pout. Turning her back against him, she crossed her arms & walked away.
“ I’m still angry at you. ”

who hogs the duvet - Hector. Elsa doesn’t mind cold.

who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts - They are both creative in different ways. But elsa can afford bigger surprises.

who starts the most arguments - I feel like they wouldn’t really try and start arguments. But Hector might have some issues with governmental stuff.
who suggests that they buy a pet - Suggest? Someone’s bringin a critter home without asking.
what couple traditions they have - hmmmmm... I dont know.
what tv shows they watch together - none. no tv
what other couple they hang out with - .... They dont really have any couple friends. Maybe Anna and whatever person she’s with.
how they spend time together as a couple - Sitting together, playing music together, laying in bed, reading-

Who is a night owl: Elsa for sure. She loves the moonlight.
Who is a morning person: I like to think Hector. He’s the sun to her moon, to be entirely honest
Are they cuddlers: Um… YES? Often as possible
Who is the big spoon: Hector. With his long lanky body. Perfect for wrapping around tiny Elsa.
Who is the little spoon: By process of elimination… Elsa.
What is their favourite sleeping position: either all cuddled up close with her head nestled into the curve of his neck, spooning, or just kinda flopped however. Someone has probably woken up with a hand resting on their face.
Who steals all the blankets: It’s an ongoing battle. There is no clear winner yet.
What they wear to bed: Elsa wears a long, modest, comfy night gown. I assume Hector wears at least comfortable cotton trousers. Maybe a shirt.
Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: Hector. Elsa doesn’t wear “shirts”. It’s all dresses. Sometimes a two piece skirt/blouse outfit but usually gowns. But she does look cute as heck wearing his long ass shirts.
Who falls asleep mid-conversation: It could go either way. If Elsa has been having a particularly stressful and restless week she might just fall asleep while they’re chatting. But I think Hector is going to get pretty worn out once his studies to become the future king begin.
Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Elsa. She tries to be graceful about it and not draw attention to it… But yes.
Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: Elsa again probably. She probably got startled the first time she woke up in the middle of the night with him there. Too out of it to remember it’s HIM and that she LET him sleep there and got startled.
Who can’t keep their hands to themself: Hector.
Who said “I love you” first: Hector for sure. He’s a huge romantic sap and he developed the feels first.
Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: they are not from a time period with phones- But in a modern verse: Both.
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: I dont see this being a thing either of them really do.
Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Both probably
Who initiated the first kiss: It was mutual.
Who kisses the other awake in the morning: Hector. Big lovable goof.
Who starts tickle fights: Hector. And he ALWAYS WINS.
Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower bath: …. Asks? They just DO that.
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: They live and work in the castle. Lunch is planned for around the same time every day. Not easy to surprise someone with that.
Who was nervous and shy on the first date: tbh BOTH
Who kills/takes out the spiders: … A castle servant probably. Elsa doesn’t really have a fear of spiders but she does have people for those jobs.
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: Elsa gets drunk easier but I feel like both would do this.

Elsa wasn’t sure it was... prudent to do anything for Hector on Father’s Day. It teetered on the line of possibly being offensive or bringing up painful old memories... But he was a father, and one she appreciated having in her life. So, while she told herself not to overdo it, she still wanted to at least wanted to show him that she liked having him in her life. Even if in only a small way.
“Hector..” Elsa whispered, her voice light and lilting as she leaned over his bed. She gave his shoulder a gentle shake to stir him from his sleep as the light of morning shone in through the window. “Wakey wakey, sleepy head.”
She waited for his brown eyes to open and she smiled warmly down at him. Lightly shaking his mattress she sat down on the bed beside him, leaning over to press a kiss to his forehead as he laid there in his tired stupor.
“Happy Father’s Day.”
“I’ve made so many mistakes, but you’re not one of them. Eres mi otra mitad." ~ Héctor
Her eyes were wide and perplexed at his words. In the time she’d known him, Hector had proven himself a witty, quick thinking, loyal and resourceful man. So considerate of her needs, so careful not to mess anything up. She’d hardly ever considered that perhaps.. He had not always been like this. He’d had a life before her. Before his death. A wife, a child… A lifetime of choices and mistakes.. Just like any human being would.
“Hector.” She smiled, holding his jaw in her palm as she looked up into those wondrous brown eyes. “Min bedre halvdel…Hjertet mitt.”
“What did I ever do to deserve as good a man as you?”
