also like, honestly, thank honestground for telling me about your fic because if they hadn’t I would have never known about it and I would have severely missed out, no lie ;u;

@honestground is an angel and I love them very much and I don’t even know how to explain how happy it makes me when they yell about this story. 

One of the first botw fics I liked was one of theirs, actually. It was literally just Zelda waking up and having a conversation with Link about the fact they’re all fucked up and only have each other and then falling asleep side by side and I was like... YES. YES MY VIBE. ITS HERE. ITS ALIVE. GOOD.

cute headcanon that he sings his adopted kiddos to sleep sometimes, tucks them in carefully and when he leaves the room tells the nearest monster to keep watch outside the door and if even so much as a single hair is misplaced on their heads he will flay the poor thing alive. BASICALLY OVERPROTECTIVE GAN DAD

I’m sorry but he doesn’t sing unless he thinks he is alone, not even for children. He doesn’t let monsters keep watch either, they are more like to try and eat children than protect them depending on the monster and they would scare the children. He lets the children live not keep them cooped up, he knows full well if he’s overprotective they won’t grow up being able to take care of themselves.
