Jou lived for days like these. It was sunny, things were going his way, and he’d gotten the day off. Just in time too, because he had been meaning to meet up with Shizuka.

He rode his bike through traffic like a maniac - which, sometimes, he wondered if he was - on his way to the café. He knew he shouldn’t be texting and biking, but it was just much quicker.

Ryota yawned, his eyes wandering across the room listlessly. He had originally entered the Black Crown Cafe to spend a bit of time with Otogi during a quiet period, however the cafe had suddenly gotten unusually busy with the arrival of a large group; so his friend was preoccupied for the time being, and Kajiki was getting bored. His eyes fell on a girl sitting across the room on another table. She looked distantly familiar, but he couldn’t work out for the life of him where he’d seen her before.
Eventually, his curiosity got the best of him and he wandered over to her table, trying to look as casual as possible. “Excuse me! But i was wondering if I might know you from somewhere. You look very familiar! Do not worry, if I am mistaken I shall leave without bothering you further.”

He paused for a few moments as he gazed down towards the girl before him. Who was she again? It took a few moments, mainly due to his lack of sleep, before a few memories came back that let him know this was Jou’s sister. As far as he could tell though she was a lot more polite than what her brother was. “You are going to university? What are you planning on studying?”

She was sure that anyone out there that could possibly want her alive was exhausted at this point, she was sure death was coming any second now as the flood of death votes came in. Closing her eyes again as the counter started ticking again, breathing slow and steady. When nothing happened after a moment nothing happened she opened her eyes. “What...” She couldn’t help the tears spilling from her eyes, how could so many people want to save her.
