Thus, you can have full control over the timing. Can be cleaned easily- The material does not have any pores, and thus bacteria cannot harbour in it. Since it is not sticky, food is also not retained and can be cleaned easily using soap, and warm water. Resistant to temperature- The wide range of warmth it can withstand is one of the primary reasons why it is used to cook a large variety of food quickly. Used in a microwave- It can be used in the microwave as well, unlike other metal utensils. Easy to store- The silicone utensils can be folded and are flexible and lightweight and do not even occupy much space. So it can be stored easily; a great way to save storage space! Attractive designs- They come in several shapes and designs which make it an aesthetic component of the kitchen. It is also available in many colour options. Cheap- Silicone cookware are moderately priced, and is affordable to all family groups. CONS: Excessively flexible- Though flexibility is an advantage, Silicone utensils are not a good choice for transferring food as it comes with a relatively unstable base. Spillage - Silicone products are a poor choice when it comes to oil/liquid spillage. Like any other manufacturing materials, Silicone materials has its own pros and cons. However, as the pros outweigh the cons silicone cookware are definitely ideal for easy and safe cooking.
