T'Pol was contemplating the value of creating a filter to weed out messages not intended for her when she realized that her point of focus had been on Chef. Not one to blush, T'Pol merely raised an eyebrow and looked back down at her PADD.
Silik turned around from where he was humming. He didn't know if Chef liked to hum, but from what he observed, humans didn't seem to think much if a small habit like this changed. No one had said anything thus far, anyway whenever people came and went from the galley. He was beginning to think there was nothing sacred in the kitchen. People kept coming up to him asking if they could borrow the stove or sneak a pint of ice cream. It mattered little, so he said yes, though often teased people first. It said of Chef that he could be a wily kind of man, so Silik tried to adopt that same playful streak. He found he actually missed the constant insulting of Gral.
When he felt T'Pol's gaze on him, Silik wondered, for a moment, if it meant she found something peculiar about him. Something out of place. It gave him a small jolt of adrenaline. Vulcan sense could be so astute... A trained chameleon that he was, Silik forced himself to wear a teasing grin on his face. "See something you like, Commander?" He left a pause just long enough for T'Pol to probably figure out it was an innuendo of sorts before he let her off the hook. "Some Plomeek broth perhaps?"
Ew I just hit on someone other than Archer.
No he did not like this new guise one bit. Except when he got to pretend yell at people to get out of his kitchen. That was the one redeeming virtue.
