I haven’t been on here in a long time but I need to vent.

My SO’s relative got murdered a few days ago by her partner. He had apparently been violently abusing her for years and got convicted of assault on their female friend a month prior. She had grown distant from my SO and his parents due to her partner, because they got very bad vibes from him and did not want to visit when he was there.

I’m so fucking sad and angry. Nobody does anything until it’s too late, people are too scared to step in, don’t want to make it their business. This could’ve been avoided but now a kind, sweet and innocent woman is dead and has been turned into a statistic
