Every bite of the flavorful fried liempo provides a delightful crunch as the skin's crispiness contrasts with the meat's tenderness and moist texture. With their excellent customer service, the Bekus' crew earns a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Customers feel respected and appreciated because of the inviting atmosphere the staff provides, even during peak times. However, it's important to note that Bekus's sanitary standards could use some work, earning a rating of 3 out of 5. Despite the deliciousness of the food, a cleaner dining area would improve the overall dining experience and guarantee more customer happiness.

I felt nostalgic about food recently especially the food served at what was once a small eatery we call "We Deliver" that offers purely silog meals. Silog is a portmanteau of sinangag (fried rice) and itlog (egg) and often paired with another fried food. My personal favorite is the burgersilog which is served using a commercial burger patty. "We Deliver" is not exactly the name of the eatery but we call it that because of the signage in its front door. Unfortunately, We Deliver is among the victims of gentrification in the area. What was once a quaint and lively eatery is now a Starbucks.
