THE DWARVES of Erebor see fit to put their Elven prince through his paces, my lady. It's just a tourney.

Send me a ✿ and my muse will react to your muse putting a flower in their hair
The weight of a light object being placed into her red hair came as a shock to her. Green lit hues flashed back to the person who stood behind her. Fierce orbs eased into a sparkle of slight delight at the sight of Lord Elrond. A hint of a smile eased upon her lips and a tilt of the head has her bowing in respect.
❝ Hîr vuin, what do I owe the pleasure of such a beautiful gift? ❞
A kind smile graces his lips, the flower that has been placed in her hair was a beautiful pink flower. Upon a usual walk, he gathered it — not having in mind at the time he would place it upon the visitors head.
❝ There is no reason — it is simply a token of our hospitality.❞

She furrows her eyebrows and the frustration of him not understanding what he had said just irritates her further. He didn’t understand and she felt like sometimes he never would. ❝ ——fili. ❞ She sighs his name and runs her fingers through her auburn colored hair.
❝ I’m frustrated with you, you don’t understand how I feel. Things aren’t as easy as you’re making it seem, we both live lives that are polar opposites. ❞
She couldn’t convey how she felt and it annoyed her even further. It made everything come out sounding like he didn’t care or that she was more important. ❝ I don’t know, I’m confused and tired and —— ❞ She placed her hands over her face and a sigh falls from her lips.
"I understand this, Tauriel." he spoke, brows furrowing in frustration. "I know that we live not side by side. I know both our kin turn away from one another. I know that the bridge that might have been there once has long been burned away. But does that mean we have to ignore one another and turn our back?" "I would like to rebuild this bridge broken. I would like to see this done in my lifetime. Whether it be as King under the Mountain or a mere prince. I would do all I could to see to this. Do you understand me? And yes. It will be hard, I am aware. I am not naive, Tauriel. I am young, but not naive." He snapped his mouth shut, keeping his eyes fixed on her for a while, until finally his stance eased a bit and he breathed out a sigh, taking her hand and placing a kiss on the back of it. "Forgive me, my love... We are both tired and weary... Let us rest and argue no more...?"

"Stay still you little ball of fur." chuckled the prince, holding beneath his coat a wriggling young pup, who made small whining noises, licking at the dwarf's beard and nosing at his chin. It appeared he was trying his hardest to get out from under the coat to go explore. Fíli hadn't meant to receive a wolf pup. In fact, it had been unexpected. The halls of stone were no place for a wolf that belonged in the forest. So instead of taking it back home, he had found himself making way to the woods, where he knew he could find Tauriel. For who better than Tauriel to take care of the pup? "Tauriel?" he finally called out, looking around the place to try and spot her before she would appear.

Eyes narrow at the dwarf. She knew she was right, it was elf instinct and that was something that should never be overlooked. So if he really wanted to go in the direction that he suggested then by all means she’d let him if he wanted to fall into a trap.
❝ When you shave your beard, I’ll admit it. Until then lets stay alive and follow my directions. ❞
{ - Fili brought his hands to his belt, digging his thumbs under the leather and shifting his weight to one leg. Glancing in the direction to which he claimed they should go. He knew he was right. But the fire headed Elf wouldn't budge. He let out a long sigh at her comment and groaned to himself.
" Mahal why... "
He glanced up to the sky shaking his head before holding his hand in the direction to which she said.
" Fine. "
