Could you maybe write some headcanons for Otto with reader that’s suffering with chronic pain? I’m really struggling to manage my pain through the winter cold and could do with some soft Otto to cheer me up 😩
Otto,,, my mans suffers from chronic pain himself so he would be very attentive!!
He would notice immediately if you started to act differently/were visibly in pain
he also can tell if you're hiding it as well, my man just knows!!
He would want to help however you need it!
Need to take a day for yourself in bed? OK! What do you need done, he will do it!
Do you need him to sit with you? He can do that too!
If you felt up for it, he would totally cuddle you, trying to give you a little boost
One of his claws would gently rub down your head to comfort you, while the others wrap around you and otto, or grab anything close by that you may need!!
If he notices you in tears one day, the pain becoming too much in the winter cold, he would only console you
No questions asked.
He would pull you close, wrap himself around you, and let you cry if you need it.
he wouldn't shush you, or tell you how sorry he was, he knows that doesn't help.
He would, however, cup your face, and tell how proud of you he was.
if you don't want to, or can't be touched, that's okay too, he knows how to comfort without touching.
"You're doing amazing, dear," his voice would low and soft, "Today has been tough, you need rest."
If you argue, or still need things done, well-
"Maybe you didn't go to the store, or still need to clean your room, but it can wait. I promise it isn't leaving, rest darling."
He wants you comfortable and knows what chronic pain is like
he knows it looks different for everyone but he will figure out what yours looks like and take his experiences to help you, especially on rough days.
