After receiving a letter about her grandmother’s journey to Minas Tirith, Ithiliell had not been able to focus on anything else. So it came as a surprise when she woke up on the morning Celebrían was to arrive and there had been no word of her traveling party. 

An unsettling feeling grew in the pit of her stomach, and she could not help but fear something was wrong. As the day continued on, the feeling only grew stronger. So around midday, Ithiliell gathered a group of guardsmen and left the city with every intention to meet Celebrían‘s party and make sure all was well.

She was leaving the place she had called home for so long-- because she was not wanted there. After everything that had happened, after everything she had lost...she had to lose home, too. Rivendell was her hope now. She had only been there once on business, but she remembered it being welcoming and calming, full of life and air, unlike the dense darkness of Mirkwood. The she-elf only hoped she would be welcomed there, and that news of what she had done to merit banishment from Mirkwood had not spread. As she finally approached the Lady of Rivendell, her head dipped slightly in respect, tone formal, but also tense.}
