I'm a server at a restaurant and occasionally I also have food running shifts where I just take the food from the kitchen to the tables all day. During my last running shift I took some food to a guy sitting by himself who said "excellent! You won't lose your reward" and I... What?! Did he think I was his server and he meant the tip? I don't look anything like the server who had his table. Even if that's the case, what a bizarre thing to say? I can't figure out what else he could've possibly meant
