Alfran the Southern Bat.

Alfran was taken from the Jungle many years ago by the humans. He has since been kept in captivity for study and lost much of his strength. 

Escape however is far from his mind as he is too weak to make the journey home by himself, he has since passed on his sound map to another individual in captivity as requested by his God.

It is hope that the young bat he watches will be able to serve as a guide for whoever may be unfortunate enough to be stuck in the North.

It was late in the day at the sanctuary, most bats were roosting and hoping the next day would bring something promising... but some had been locked up here for months.

Hannah had been here all her life, which wasn’t that long considering how young she was. Bats had come and go but she was waiting for one to come back. Being a biter the humans had set her in her own tiny pen to keep her from getting at the others.

Her trust had greatly dwindled after her mother had been taken by them.

So now she sat gnawing at her band in hopes it might come off, though so far it just hurt her teeth if she tried for too long.
