It didn’t take Eli long to get to Simon’s and he knocked quickly on the door. He was still feeling weird from everything and didn’t know what to do with himself. Forgetting right up until he heard the door knob twisting that he ought to be kneeling, Eli quickly dropped and landed funny on one knee causing hims face to screw up in pain, “Owwwwww....... hi, sir, sorry, sir, I’m okay, I just... oww...” @simonxevans
Eli wasn’t sure what was going on but he ran a hand through his damp hair and walked quickly to the switch dorms to Simon’s door. He’d done his best to rinse off at the pool but he was sure all he smelled like was chlorine and he sighed as he knelt and knocked on the door. Chlorine, unknown situation, guh, Eli didn’t know what to make of anything at the moment. @simonxevans
So Eli might have been up to his ears in catch-up homework, regular homework, glee practice, track practice, and trying not to worry about the fact that every time he thought about claims or claiming he felt slightly sick to his stomach. He might have been and that could have been the reason he was now avoiding all work and going for a walk with Simon. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to go for a walk with Simon or that he wouldn’t have offered if he wasn’t procrastinating because he absolutely did and he absolutely would have. It was a case of too-much-to-do-so-I’m-not-doing-anything and Eli had it bad. He firmly put everything out of his head and was signing his song that he was going to do at Glee quietly, under his breath while he waited for Simon to arrive. @simonxevans
Normally, he would have just texted. Normally, he’d have just sent a funny meme. Today was not normal and so normal would not do. Eli dropped his bag on the floor of his room and then immediately left and headed towards Simon’s room. He wasn’t sure if he should but he also didn’t care and he knocked as he got down to his knees. With a little grin, he brought his other hand up and knocked with both hands as he nibbled his bottom lip. @simonxevans
Eli had slept cuddled up to Lennon for a long time. By the time he stirred, the end credits of Mary Poppins was playing and Alastair had dozed off on the couch next to them. As gently as he could, he extricated himself from the couch, careful not to disturb Lennon and went to check on Simon. A quick detour to the kitchen for two glasses of water, Eli went to the spare room where Simon had crashed after agreeing to come with them. Hesitating at the door, the sub wasn’t sure if the switch was awake so he whisper quietly, “Sir? Are you sleeping?” and waited quietly to see if there was an answer. @simonxevans

Eli sent the 'thank you' to Simon and then the 'no' to Nick about spending the night and let out a breath. He felt like crap and he didn't know how to make it stop. First there was the whole Devy leaving thing and his impression of himself being an asshole about it because he was upset... but then there was the added layers of everyone telling him it was fine how he felt when he clearly saw that it wasn't... and the cherry on top was worrying Jamie. Adding to Jamie's stress at this time of year was the worst possible thing he could do but he didn't know how to stop it without flat out lying which he didn't want to do at all. Eli was sure Nick would have tried to convince him it was okay and he didn't want to deal with it, asking for orders from Simon so he could legitimately say no felt just as underhanded as a lie but there was no going back now. He headed to the switch building and knocked on Simon's door, doing his best to school his face into something neutral and unworried. @simonxevans
Eli headed over to Simon’s with a plate of the cookies in hand. They’d turned out really well, Axel had done a great job helping and he was left with a mountain of cookies. Thank goodness they tasted okay! He knocked quietly and waited for Simon to answer. He didn’t know where Jamie was and he was having a hard time trusting that Mateo and Nick could watch over him and he needed some sort of distraction from his anxiety. Knowing that Simon was going through something too, however, and he wouldn’t burden the switch with anything, just keep good company while waiting for Jamie to get back to him. @simonxevans
Eli was so relieved when Simon wasn’t busy and put him under orders. He’d felt so weird after the games ended and he couldn’t pinpoint why and his usual go-to, Jamie, wasn’t available. Neither was Devy or Nick and Eli realized he hadn’t really made any close connections that he felt like he could just call on them out of the blue except one: Simon. Which is how he found himself outside the switches’ door, plateful of peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies in hand, waiting to be let in. @simonxevans
