How to make the best cup of chai tea the lazy way
By me
Step one, either make a mix yourself or buy it. This is cardamom heavy masala chai that my grandma gave me as a gift and i have fallen in love. You can also just use black tea, and add cardomom, cinnamon, clove, etc. To make it taste like chai. I put mine in my reusable tea holder thingy.
Step two: patience. Once you put the hot water into the cup with your tea, wait for like, at least 8 minutes. If it cools down to much before you want to drink it, just re heat it in the microwave, but this really does need to steep for a long time in order for any flavor to breat through.
Step 3: remove your tea bag, add sweetener and milk! I use pure maple syrup and cream, actually. You can use any sweetener, i bet molassas would be good. I prefer cream over milk because it is... creamier!
Step 4: enjoy!
Chai tea is one of my favorites cause it really does taste great, and it has a lot of medicinal and magical qualities. The energy you put into it matters as well.
I recently learned that drinking hot things actually does raise your body temperature, so if you are sick, you apparently should not use your post tea temp as your measurement. The more you know.
Have a happy end to your decade!
