That time when you realize...
...an acquaintance of yours is drifting away from you more and more.
Well, I guess it's just an acquaintance so...it's not that big of a deal to say good bye, right? But am I not being a dick to them bc at one point we DID talk a lot and we DID share something? Somehow? I have a feeling in these times with all the fleeting relationships on the internet it shouldnt matter that much to me. But I will be damned if I am one of those people I keep meeting that give their attention as long as you can amuse them and then throw you away for the next one that comes along a few days later.
Always feeling like an old, sorted out toy is tiring. But who is to blame? Me? For not always wanting the same thing as them? For not being able to deliver what they are craving for? Or them- for moving on so fast?
Either way- this world is changing so fast. And everyone with it.
I need a fix point. Something unchanging. Something I can hold on to.
...maybe I am just not able to adjust as well as they are. However, this is life as I see it. Don't give it too much thought, whoever might read this. These are the ramblings of a person who is trying to make sense of what is happening around her. What happened to that me from only months ago? Was I not one of them? Fleeting? Craving? Changing? Leaving others behind without a thought? I was, actually. .
.
.
I was.
How many did I leave behind on the long way?
