A SIMPSONS post.
We all know all roads lead to "The Simpsons", but to fit into society one must learn to suppress the urge to quote it, at least eight urges out of ten.
So when one of my co-workers smirked and erratically wiggled his lips, I suppressed the urge to say, "Hi, Poochie. You look like you've got something to say. DO you? Yes, I certainly do. I have to go now. My planet needs me." I laughed alone, stood and walked away from my desk to get over it.
With me still standing and getting over it, Co-worker #2 walked by me, looking me directly in the eyes with a sheating grin. I suppressed the urge again, instead opting for the actual-person line, "What's so funny?"
She laughed and said, "Remember that episode of 'The Simpsons' when Poochie--"
And I was gone.
Turns out, we were reminded of the same episode but two different moments, by two different triggers.
This is funny to nobody else, but I have to document it.
